Art Program

Students will work with trained art professionals in classes that focus on media exploration, historical & contemporary art studies, and technical skill building.

Classes meet weekly for 1.5 to 2 hours, each session is 6 weeks.

May 2 - June 8 (5-6 weeks, No class Thurs, 6/6)

Ages 4-6 (90 min)

Class Descriptions

  • Explore Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Collage and Design inside a special theme! A wonderful first art class that teaches all foundational art skills through exciting multi-dimensional projects.

  • Discover the basics of logic and engineering through the design and building of games. This fun class will introduce Painting, Drawing, Game Construction, Kinetic Art, and the principles of system design. Students will make their own puzzles, card games, board game, and kinetic toys!

  • Painting and Drawing are the foundation of all arts. This class teaches the important skills, techniques and introduce professional materials including: colored pencil, acrylic paint, watercolor and etc. to students. An important foundation for any future art experiences.

  • Take drawing and writing to a new level by learning how to make comics and graphic novels. Special illustration techniques, materials, and skills will be taught in this class. Students will learn about character and story development as well as drawing faces, facial expressions, poses, and perspectives.
