About Us

Creative World Art Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specializing in art education, founded in 2010 by a group of professional artists and educators.

Our programs include weekly art classes, after-school enrichment programs, seasonal camps, private event rentals, free public events, and art exhibitions at Artopia Gallery, our community gallery.

Through our Arts Bridge program, we provide art education to local schools and non-profit youth organizations.

  • We foster artistic, creative, and inclusive communities through integrated arts education.

  • Innovative Arts Education - Employing professional artists to develop, teach and facilitate the authentic student experience of being art makers.

Immersive Art - Promoting transformative, multifaceted experiences that deepen understanding.

21st Century Skills - Fostering creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, adaptability, problem solving, and social responsibility.

Community - Connecting local artists, teachers, students, families, and art lovers.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Valuing respect and acceptance in all aspects of our programs.

  • We design our lessons to introduce young artists to new techniques and materials while encouraging them make discoveries. Classes combine looking, experimenting, planning, and making. Students engage with contemporary and historical art, encounter and experiment with materials and creative technologies, then plan and execute their own projects. We meet every student at their own level. We know that artists, like art, come in all forms and from all backgrounds.

  • We believe that art education gives children, teens and adults creative and critical thinking and observation skills that will help them pursue excellence in all areas of life. That’s why we emphasize thinking outside the box just as much as skill-building. Learning how to express one’s own unique ideas is just as important as learning how to use shadow and value. All our classes focus on experimentation as well as technique.
