Student Art Competition
An annual art competition open to middle school and high school students in the San Gabriel Valley, our Creative World Student Art Competition elevates the arts while being an opportunity for youth to explore their creativity and self-expression through art-making. The competition is free to enter and students decide their own theme and subject. This is a juried art show with scholarships awarded to the top three middle and high school entries made possible by the generosity of the You and Me Foundation.

Submissions open until April 17, 2026
Submit your artwork to win up to $1,000!
Winning Art will be exhibited at Artopia Gallery from May 9 - May 29, 2026.
Opening Night: May 9, 2026 at 4 - 6 pm. Scholarships will be awarded during this event.
This is an amazing opportunity to participate in a professional art show, and is a great achievement to list on college applications!

High School and Middle School Students in San Gabriel Valley (includes: Arcadia, Monrovia, Pasadena, Alhambra, etc.)

ANY kind of visual art is eligible for submission: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital art, conceptual art on ANY subject of the artist’s choice.

Submit images of visual work and your artist information through the link above. A gmail account is required.
You may submit up to 5 entries.
There is NO cost to enter.
The entry deadline is April 17, 2026, at 11pm PST.

Up to 20 artworks will be selected to be shown in the Exhibition from May 9 - 31, 2026.
Of those selected, an additional (6) six juror awards will be given:
1st place winner High School - $1,000
2nd place winner High School - $500
3rd place winner High School - $250
1st place winner Middle School - $250
2nd place winner Middle School - $100
3rd place winner Middle School - $50
