Project Title: Hallway Illusion Print 

Medium: Printmaking 

Grade Theme: Optical Illusion 

Overview: Students will create hallway drawings with the illusion of a figure chasing  another figure  

Art Skills: Printmaking and stamping 

Process: Students will draw a hallway with single point perspective. Then draw a  figure on a Styrofoam sheet which is then cut out and printed twice on the hallway  drawing 

Materials: professional art printing paper, brayers, block printing ink, Styrofoam sheets

Tools Provided by Classroom: Scissors, pencils

Description Summary: Today students had a special art lesson making illusion print using professional printmaking materials. They discussed the history and function of  printing and designed and made their own prints.
