Overview: Students will make cubist drawings with oil pastels

Process: Students will make drawings, cut and trace them in abstracted orientation and then segment the rest of the page and fill in and detail with oil pastels
Materials: construction paper, oil pastels
Tools Provided by Classroom: Scissors, pencils

Description Summary: Today students had a special art lesson making cubist drawings with oil pastels.  They discussed the history of cubism and the thinking behind the creating of abstract art.
