Project Title: Coral Reef Relief Collage
Medium: Collage - Pop-up Project

Overview: Students will create relief collage landscapes of coral reefs using layers of construction paper with paper spacers and details with watercolor pencils
Art Skills: Drawing, cutting, gluing, composition
Process: Students will draw and cut layers of the ocean floor, coral, fish, and other aspects of a reef ecosystem a glue them together in a collage with paper spacers to give the composition depth.
Materials: Construction paper, watercolor pencils
Tools Provided by Classroom: Scissors, pencils, glue
Vocabulary: Coral Reef: A coral reef is an underwater ecosystem characterized by reef-building coral creatures. Coral reefs have more life than any other part of the ocean, they are full of fish and ocean animals of all sizes.
