Overview: Students will create abstract collages

Process: Students will cut, design, and glue construction paper collages with NO identifiable images. 
Materials: Construction paper, cardstock, glue
Tools Provided by Classroom: Scissors, pencils
Vocabulary: Abstract art, pattern, shape, line, color
Multiple Subject Integration: Applied math, spatial relationships, color theory

Description Summary: Today students had a special art lesson making abstract collages. They explored vivid color combinations, shapes, and abstract composition challenges.
